Our camping page that offers you 4 places to camp in either primitive or non-primitive sites. We have campgrounds on the river and backwoods. These are privately owned! Rates are posted on the Campground Page. We welcome Hikers, Naturalist, Bicyclist, Kayaker's, Fishermen and Women. Each location is located very close to the Toecane River and a site overlooking the Nolichucky River into the TN. Gorge for Rafting, Kayaking, Tubing and many river activities. The views in this neck of the woods are absolutely breathtaking. Come and enjoy a day at the river. Visit our waterfront or backwoods camping areas. This place is a Hikers Haven Heaven having Mt. Mitchell, Roan Mtn., Unaka Mtn. and the Appalachian Trail right at your doorstep. Each location is privately owned and operated by Family Members and Friends.
Our Cabin & House Rentals pages our for people who need little luxuries. We have fully furnished houses, cabins and soon stationary RV Rentals right here on site at "Somewhere In Time Antiques & Outfitters". We also offer shuttle service to both rivers so sit back and enjoy. No worrying of carrying that camping, biking and or kayaking supplies. We have storage facilities and bath facilities on site. Making Reservations: Go to reservations page and claim your stay today! Make a reservation at least 2 days in advance. So we can prepare for your stay. A small deposit may be required depending on which location interests you.
Map and Directions Page is to our location's. We have wonderful rentals and campgrounds located in Mitchell and Yancey Counties to choose from.

Things like clawfoot bath tubs, old sinks, washers, beds anything you might collect. We may be able to find for you. From our many travels to the area of western NC and Eastern TN. Heck we may even have it in stock. So just let us know. We also have Local Family and Friends Artisans Crafts from Western NC. If you have any ideas we can make it! Wood, Iron, Art, Pottery and more! Whether you are looking for Catnip, Ramps (Leeks), flowers, bulbs, cuttings, small trees and bushes. Anything you might be looking for in horticulture. We have many things that grow in abundance around here and can help you landscape your home. We can even get you moss if thats what you need. Rock or Wood Moss in abundance here. Boxwood clippings galore located right on premises. If looking for that special plant you can't find anywhere else just ask and we will let you know if we can get it for you and pricing.
